Golf Stand Bags
As an avid golfer, I’m partial to walking the course and carrying my bag. Not only is it great exercise, it’s my time to relax and enjoy being outdoors and away from the stress and pressure of work and ‘real life.’ Obviously, carrying a cart bag isn’t an option, as those can weight fourty or fifty pounds by the time you load them up with your clubs, rain gear, drinks and other things. A stand bag is a must, and being light weight and having the necessary features is highly important for me.
Important Criteria For A Great Golf Stand Bag
- Lightweight – the bag has to be easy to carry.
- Functional – the legs need to stand well, needs pockets and features to make carrying easier.
- High Quality – it’s hard to make something lightweight and be functional and durable at the same time.
So there’s a few things we’ll be looking at as we review popular stand and carry bags from the major manufacturers. There are some things that are really important to me, like having a drink holder, though may not be something that’s of concern to you. So I’ve kept an open mind and looked at all the key features, drawbacks and advantages to using some of these bags. I’ve personally either purchased and used personally, or have a friend that carries that type or have “borrowed” one of these golf bags for at least a full round of golf. I’m objective, honest and the kind of guy who tells it like it is. Nothing sugar coated here, just the cold hard truth for those looking for the best stand bag for them.
So have a look around, check out the pages that interest you. Obviously I haven’t, nor could I, cover every type of bag by every manufacturer. I’ve only reviewed the bags that I have experience with, and will continue to expand the list as I get an opportunity to try more. Thanks for reading, and I hope that I was able to help you make your purchasing decision easier.
